I grew up and graduated high school in Waterloo, Iowa . It was just my mom, dad, one sister and a variety of pets and animals. We lived on a little lake, and spent much time swimming, canoeing and ice skating (more like falling down). We spent most of our time outside riding bikes, 4H, and playing sports with the neighborhood kids.

I moved to Northern Arizona, specifically the South Rim of the Grand Canyon , in 1992 with four of my friends for summer employment. Needless to say I fell in love with the area and have never gone far. I returned home in 1995 and finished up my Associates of Arts degree. However, I missed Arizona very much and found myself right back on the rim.

I can not complain about my life. I have had a great time bartending and meeting people from all around the world. I spent a year in a RV exploring America, from Arizona to Arcadia, down to Key West and up to Montana. Always by my side, my best friend and much loved Golden "Molly". She is eight years old and I don't know what I would do without her.

I have many interests, I'm naturally curious and always want to learn. I love music, art, animals, traveling, baseball (go Cubbies), and the outdoors, which is how I ended up at Lake Powell . Having grown up on a lake, I miss swimming and canoeing. Lake Powell is a perfect combination for my love of Arizona and the water.

So here I am! I'm incredibly excited about my new venture in life. I look forward to my career in real estate, challenges included!

WE SUPPORT CONCERNS OF POLICE SURVIVORS
Concerns of Police Survivors
Each year, between 140 and 160 officers are killed in the line of duty and their families and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss. COPS provides resources to help them rebuild their shattered lives. There is no membership fee to join COPS, for the price paid is already too high.

"There's a public-perception challenge. I am committed, as is Secretary Norton, to do whatever we can to educate the rest of this nation that this is still a wondrous place to be, and there's more water than they could ever really dream of."
