West Virginia native. Graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and Navarro (TX) Police Academy. Attended graduate school at University of Northern Colorado. I've chosen to live and work in Arizona since 1986.
I grew up as an ''Army Brat'' living all over the U.S. and in Japan and Germany and transferred schools 32 times but I loved the life. Never far from my military roots, my favorite pastime is traveling and exploring new places and different cultures.
For several years, I raised and trained harness horses and restored antique carriages.

WE
SUPPORT CONCERNS OF POLICE SURVIVORS

Each year, between 140 and 160
officers are killed in the line of duty and their families
and co-workers are left to cope with the tragic loss.
COPS provides resources to help them rebuild their shattered
lives. There is no membership fee to join COPS, for
the price paid is already too high.

"There's
a public-perception challenge. I am committed,
as is Secretary Norton, to do whatever
we can to educate the rest of this nation
that this is still a wondrous place to
be, and there's more water than they could
ever really dream of."
